Masjid Al-A'la

Masjid Al-A'la is situated in Kodiang, a locality within the Kota Setar district of Kedah, along the main road connecting Jitra and its surrounding areas. Its architecture follows a traditional Malaysian mosque design, characterised by an iconic dome and minaret that make it easily recognisable along the roadside. The name "Al-A'la" means "The Most High" in Arabic, reflecting the mosque's mission to uplift the spirit of worship and devotion. The mosque has long served as a spiritual centre for the local Muslim community, providing daily access for the five obligatory prayers, Friday congregational prayers, and various Islamic programmes throughout the year. It also hosts religious lectures, knowledge sessions, and observances for major Islamic events such as Ramadan and Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
